A laser scanner is a device which uses a laser and a camera to measure hundreds (if not thousands) of points every second. It’s a type of 3D scanner which allows the car guys to inspect parts that would otherwise be impossible to measure with regular contact measurement. For more info check out http://www.geomagic.com. Our software is what they use to analyze that data once they scan the car.
