2016 Acura NSX Spy Photos in High Resolution

The new NSX hasn’t exactly been in hiding these past few weeks, so I wouldn’t necessarily call these shots from “spy photos” per se. Nevertheless, the photos were taken with some decent camera gear and are probably the best look at the “production ready” NSX out in the wild.

Snapshots: New Acura NSX in Austria

Last week we reported sightings of the new Acura NSX testing in Europe with the latest photo coming from the streets of Innsbruck Austria. We were able to track down the photographer named Manuel, a car enthusiast from Innsbruck, and he was able to provide a few more shots of the cars. Manuel told us, “I’ve seen 3(NSX), one with camo, one hand built, and one finished production car.”

Check out the snapshots in the gallery above and follow Manuel on Instagram for more – @manu_blitz.

Video: New Acura NSX Spotted in Europe

While the next generation Acura NSX makes its road tour across America, it seems prototype testing has continued on the European front.

In a video recently uploaded by YouTube user SupercarsAction, a camouflaged NSX prototype with European plates is seen in a mountainous region accompanied by a Porsche Turbo S. The only other information provided is that the NSX is “testing in the alps”.

Oddly enough the video also contains still shots of an uncovered black NSX with European plates and Acura badges.

Check out the 24-second video below.

NSX Prototype Sighting at the Nürburgring

“Some serious benchmarking of the new-generation Honda/Acura NSX happening today at the Nürburgring.” –

Nürburgring blog and fansite has posted two photos of an NSX Prototype testing on the famous track. Its license plate and a few other visual clues suggest these are recent photos, different from the previous batches. This is the first NSX Prototype sighting at the Nürburgring since it was last seen in October of 2014.

Video: Next Generation Acura NSX Spied at Gas Station

Now that the NSX nears production we’re seeing more of the prototypes out and about on city streets. This latest video catches the NSX at a gas station in close proximately as it fires up and drives off. The video capture is actually pretty good quality considering it was probably a camera phone, and it gives us a some good audio of the engine and exhaust note. See the 1-minute video clip below.

NSX Prototype Spotted in Australia

An NSX Prototype was spotted a long way from home again, but this time it wasn’t track testing in Germany.

Last week the NSX was caught hot-weather testing in a town called Alice Springs in Northern Territory, Australia. Australian automotive website CarAdvice has collected several photos of the camouflaged vehicle seen around town, which probably wasn’t hard to miss especially with the bright yellow “left hand drive” sticker on the rear. Some have speculated Acura engineers were in Northern Territory to make use of a particular stretch of highway with an open speed limit just outside of Alice Springs.
