2014 Acura MDX Prototype at the Canadian International Auto Show

From the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Acura Canada’s Emile Korkor introduces the 2014 Acura MDX Prototype and some of its innovative new features. Emile mentions the 2014 Acura MDX clocked a time 8 seconds faster than the current MDX, and will still deliver improved overall fuel economy. Though not specified, we can assume he is referring to its Nürburgring track time, where both the 2nd generation and the new 3rd generation MDX have spent time in development.

Putting a pair of GoPro cameras to good use, The Temple of VTEC effectively displays how the 2014 Acura RLX’s Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS) works in real time. The quick angle movements of the rear wheel is especially noticeable during the S-curve section of track. As a bonus, the last part of the video has the Acura RLX going up against a BMW 535i in a split screen comparison.
