For the first time, the 2017 Acura NSX has officially arrived in video game form as a fully playable car in Xbox One’s Forza Horizon 3.
Last week Forza Horizon 3 released their latest Car Pack update which adds the 2017 NSX to a growing list of over 350 cars already available in the the game. Here’s what Forza had to say about the NSX:
“The new Acura NSX may be a hybrid, but it’s a hybrid supercar. A mid-engine, all-wheel-drive, twin-turbo, hybrid slice of pure performance. With around 600 hp from its combined 3.5-liter V6 and three electric motors driving all four wheels, what you have is a balanced and capable car that can compete with other supercars nearly ten times its price. There are nine gears to work your way through as you pass 60 mph in just over three seconds and torque-vectoring to smooth you through the curves. All the while you can still look back fondly on the original NSX that made the 2017 model possible in the first place.”
In the game you can explore several detailed views of the car – including a look under the front hood and the engine bay. On a performance scale, the NSX gets high marks in acceleration, launch, and braking, with a total rating score of 868. That puts it ahead of the 2017 Nissan GTR’s 861, and just behind the 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus’ score of 879.
