The 2018 TLX prototype sightings have been pretty scarce since it was first spied back in July, but Motor Trend has just posted a few shots of the car taken recently in Southern California.

Although the prototype still wears heavy padded camouflage, the photos give us a better look at the new diamond pentagon grille proportions and a few other details. The lower front bumper seems to have opened up a bit more, especially in the center. Also note the new wheel design and blacked-out chrome trim. There’s not much to see in the rear, but we’re certain there will be a few updates including the return of exposed exhaust tips.
