I had a chance to see the new 2023 Acura Integra in Austin, TX, last week, so here are some raw, unedited photos, (pretty much)straight out of the camera!

The model you see is an Integra A-Spec with Technology Package, in Liquid Carbon Metallic with red interior, and a 6-speed manual transmission. This combination gives you everything the Integra can offer, and is priced at $35,800 MSRP, regardless of your choice of CVT or 6-Speed MT.

On the outside, A-Spec elements include A-Spec badging, LED fog lights, 18-inch wheels, matte black window trim, gloss black decklid spoiler, gloss black lower grille and a gloss black rear diffuser.

Liquid Carbon Metallic was definitely one of the best colors to truly show off the Integra’s sharp lines and chiseled features. In the flesh and out in natural light, the car looked so much better than when I first saw the Indy Yellow Integra Protoype in LA. Under a harsh Texan sun that shone directly above us for most of the time, the car was surprisingly photogenic. 

Inside, the spacious cabin comfortably accommodates my 6’1″ frame sitting in the driver seat, yet also provides ample leg space in the rear. While there are shared parts with the Civic, the Integra adds interior design elements for a more premium look and feel. Most noticeable is the leather padding surrounding the passenger, which mimics the MDX cabin.

The Technology package tacks on a ton of extra features, but what you’ll see in the photos are the 9-inch touchscreen display, the 16-speaker ELS STUDIO® audio system(which sounds freakin’ awesome), wireless charging pad, Type C USB ports, and the synthetic leather trimmed seats with microsuede inserts.

In terms of versatility, the Integra leads its competitors with its cargo capacity, and is the only vehicle in the premium sport compact segment with a 5-door liftback. It was more than enough for our backpacks and camera gear, but I’m eager to see how easily I can jam my mountain bike in there!
