Check out how the Tier10 crew filmed the Acura TLX “Welcome to the Family” promotional video in just two nights, shooting out the back of a 2015 Acura MDX:
“Take a behind-the-scenes look into Tier10′s shoot with the all-new 2015 Acura TLX in New York City. While filming in L.A., the crew received a call giving them long-awaited access to the TLX for just 48 hours. After deciding that the best backdrop for the TLX was NYC at night, the crew knew that this would only present them with a number of issues in the city that never sleeps. Anticipating any and all obstacles that would come their way – including the NYC Sanitation Department starring in most of their running footage – the team used equipment that let them remain flexible and versatile – the MOVI M10, a few Canon lenses, and Kino Flo lights. With little sleep and running on adrenaline, the Tier10 team wrapped up both nights minutes before 5 a.m. Watch the video and see what Tier10 can do with the all-new TLX and a few short hours in NYC.”- Tier10
The EverymanDriver Dave Erickson gets behind the wheel of a 2015 Acura MDX SH-AWD for another of his off-road test reviews. The hills were steep and rugged at the Spokane ORV Park, at one point forcing the SH-AWD equipped MDX to push through successfully on just three wheels.
”WOW… impressive… People call these cars like the MDXs, RDXs mall-finders, you know they’re just a family vehicle or a high end luxury vehicle that people take to the mall and the don’t really take it off-road. But if you want to… you can.”- Dave Erickson
