Acura looks to continue their growth in China with the addition of the next generation RDX. China Car Times has caught the RDX protoype testing in China just a week away from its big debut in Detroit.
Covered in the usual “camouflage” print, a few small tears to the front show just enough to reveal a refreshed grille and a peek at the new headlights. It’s looking like the new RDX will adopt a few styling cues from the current MDX which seems to be working well for Acura in the midsize SUV segment.
If true, the RDX will joining the TL, RL, MDX and the recently launched ZDX in the Chinese market.
Remember to mark January 9th on your calendar, because it’s going to be a big day for Acura at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. Keep it on Acura Connected for all the latest updates.

I hate the current RDX syling. The pre-shield models were not as bad, but the current style is a total deal breaker. From what I see here though the next gen might be a winner.
