With the NSX set to return next year I know many Acura fans have been wondering if a more affordable two-door sport coupe will soon follow. Unfortunately I don’t have the answer to that question, but I can show you my rendition of what it might look like.
While automotive renderings are not my specialty, I did attempt to use current Acura styling and incorporate aggressive features like the large air inlets, front spoiler and a strong shoulder line. The dimensions will be similar to the current BMW 4-series Coupe, as I based the proportions on a photo of that model. It would also explain why this rendering has some slight “fish-eye” distortion.
The Acura hybrid badge signifies that yes, it will have Sport Hybrid SH-AWD. And heck since this is my rendering I’ve also decided it will get a turbocharged V6 engine.

Love it. I hadn’t noticed this when you showed me a prior iteration but I like that lower front lip. Car looks great! Let’s get Acura to build it 🙂
@Tyson
Thanks Tyson. Admittedly I’m not totally happy with the end result. It was fun(and frustrating) to be a “car designer” for a short while though.
Love it! Very nice!
Looks good, but I’d like to see it another colour and some different angles!
If this is the direction, I’ll holding off on the TLX! Nice work. Wow.
I don’t know why Acura is’t working on something like this right now. maybe they are, or something like this is down the road.
I have a 2002 Acura coupe it’s about time they build a new coupe similar to the accord coupe I have been waiting a long time. I would buy one today.
