Overall I think there’s a lot to like about the Acura Precision Concept. The new “Diamond Pentagon” grille and the oversized Acura emblem is overwhelming at first, but the distinct shape has potential to bring Acura that “luxury” identity it’s looking for.
Ironically, the biggest complaint I have with the Precision Concept is that there is a little too much emphasis on the grille. I realize as a concept car this was done purposely, but if there was less focus on the grille, I would have loved the design a lot more.
I started to play the “what if” game in my mind, which eventually led me to do some tweaking in photoshop. The idea was to simplify some of the front features, and give the grille a better fit while still maintaining the current theme. I’d like to think it’s just a slightly toned down version of the Acura Precision Concept.
