A 2005 Acura NSX-T sold for $291,000 USD over the weekend at RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction, setting a new record for first-generation Acura NSXs. The $291,000 USD price makes it the highest first-generation Acura NSX sale of all time, beating out the 1999 Acura NSX Zanardi Edition that sold for $282,017 USD in 2020 on Bring a Trailer.
Before this weekend’s record sale, here’s a glimpse of first-generation Acura NSX auction prices from 2015, via Hagerty. Keep in mind these are Acura NSX prices, and do not include Honda NSXs or NSX-Rs.
The Long Beach Blue Pearl with Onyx leather 2005 Acura NSX-T was one of 249 Acura NSX-T examples built in the model’s final production year(2005) and had only 5,113 miles on the odometer.
If you’re wondering what the first-generation Honda NSX record is, well it was also set this weekend with a 1995 Honda NSX Type-R going for $632,000 USD via Broad Arrow Auctions.
