Prior to last year’s 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Max Verstappen and a few of his fellow Honda F1 drivers were guests at “HRC Hybrid Day” at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Here we witnessed Max’s inaugural drive in a Le Mans Prototype. And it just happened to be an in Acura, the Acura ARX-06 LMDh race car to be exact.

There were various videos posted: clips from spectators, a 1-minute highlight reel and even an onboard lap. But now, more than two months later, Honda Racing US has published an 11-minute “Behind the Scenes” video of Verstappen and the Acura ARX-06.

In the video, we see Max getting prepped for the drive, his conversations with Colin Braun, and hear his driving impressions. And, more importantly, there’s more raw video footage of Max behind the wheel of the ARX-06, and the sweet sound of him pushing that Acura 2.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine.
