Sold for $251,033 USD at auction! The auction for Sold for $251,033 USD at auction!

The auction for Tony Stark's Acura NSX Roadster from Marvel’s 2012 film The Avengers closed on Saturday, fetching $251,033. Proceeds from the auction will go to a charity of the winning bidder’s choice.

While its custom-built body was inspired by the second-generation NSX Concept, the Roadster is actually built on the underpinnings of a 1991 first-generation Acura NSX.

Created specifically for The Avengers, the one-of-a-kind movie car has been preserved in its on-screen condition, complete with the distinctive “STARK 33” license plate.

What do you think? Should Acura have put the NSX Roadster into production?

I just got back from vacation in Italy, so here's a little nostalgia from 1991: an NSX ad with an Italian twist. 🇮🇹

Acura’s lineup may be down to just three models, b Acura’s lineup may be down to just three models, but there’s more on the way.

Today Acura shared its future roadmap, confirming plans for three new SUVs in the coming years:

Adventure-ready SUV: Arriving in early 2028 with rugged capability and premium styling.

Largest Acura SUV ever: An 8-passenger model positioned above the MDX.

Next-gen RDX Hybrid: A fourth-generation RDX arriving in 2028 with Acura’s two-motor hybrid technology.

Acura is also developing a new V6 hybrid powertrain for its D-segment(large sedan) models, promising sporty performance, improved towing and greater efficiency.

Which new Acura are you most excited to see?
Tony Stark won’t be in Avengers: Doomsday this Dec Tony Stark won’t be in Avengers: Doomsday this December, but how cool would it be to roll up to the theatre in his NSX Roadster?

The one-of-a-kind Acura NSX used by Stark in Marvel’s 2012 film The Avengers will hit the auction block at Willow Springs on October 17, with every dollar of the winning bid going to a charity of the winner’s choosing.

Built specifically for its cameo in the film, the custom NSX Roadster was styled after the second-generation NSX Concept that debuted earlier that year. Its dark maroon-red colour is said to be finished in the same shade of red as Iron Man’s iconic suit.

Underneath the custom bodywork is a genuine NSX — a 1991 first-generation model that donated its bones to the project.

Who's making a bid?!
