The Acura design team has done a great job on this but the engineers need to to step it up. It would have been great if it debuted with the 6 speed auto and some Earth dreams tech but I guess it will have to wait another year or two.

To me it looks like an IS 250. except it is FWD and no v6. With the tech package it will be a very nice car.

I’d go with the V6 TSX.

I agree with the other poster who said the RDX and ILX should have come with earthdreams engine. I think at the Mid cycle refresh they will get earthdreams tech.

The new flagship/RL should be first in line for the Earth Dreams tech. Hopefully the rest of the lineup will get it next year or in 2 years at the latest.

I believe that the new Accord is the first car to be released with the Earth Dreams tech. RL will be the first car released with the E-SH-AWD system.

Love the design, this and the TL are my favorite Acura design bar none. When the rumor states that a car going to replace the TSX based on a Civic, something just died inside of me, but after seeing the ILX… Eh… The TSX is old anyway. One big gripe over the car is the old engine, don’t get me wrong, the R20 and K24 are proven potent engines but as an Acura it should at least be paired with 6AT at the very least to differentiate the car more from the Civic.

I’ll take the 2.4L ILX manual with sport suspension and black rim though.
