Acura USA has released a trio of new 30-second spots for the 2014 Acura MDX and the 2014 RLX. All three videos feature the female voice from the “Made for Mankind” ads. The RLX footage actually originates from Acura Canada’s 2014 Acura RLX Commercial which debuted earlier this year.
See the videos below.

Thanks for sharing, Chris. I love the RLX one, especially when it showcases the P-AWS at work.
VoiceOver fail. Commercial voices need more authority. She sounds like a teenage bimbo.
Can you please tell me the name of the music use for the Acura RLX “Other Road” commercial?
I’ve seen some complaints about the woman’s voice, personally I like it!
Who is the female’s voice???
Lovely voice and it’s about time to stop DEMANDING that America buy products are we are TOLD. Who is this woman? Absolutely comforting in this time of stress.
Sounds like Blake Lively
I could swear the voice over actress is Camilla Luddington (Grey’s Anatomy).
The female VO is reminiscent of heroin-chic. A poor choice, IMO. Sober-up!
In the ad titled “Time” (with the black balloons), it sounds to me like Darryl Hannah.
Or, a lobotomized down-freak.
They sound to me like John Hamm (Don Draper in AMC’s Mad Men) and Scarlett Johanssen.
While I’m all in favor of women VOs, this one is a little to weak and affected.
Not just for Acura brand but for anything. It doesn’t ring genuine.
Then there are the spots themselves, which are about….? Made for Mankind?
And that is differentiating because…? Other luxury brands are made for…?
Poor little Acura. Still on search of its Brand.
I despise this woman’s voice. I turn the sound off every time it comes on. This kind of scratchy sound is basically a physical defect or speech impediment, but now it’s become common among young women who overuse the word “like” and end every sentence as if it were a question. Apparently it’s now called “vocal fry.” The voice in this ad is a veritable deep fryer!
See this video clip here that discussed the vocal fry (granted, it’s an opinion piece): http://www.cbsnews.com/news/faith-salie-burned-out-on-the-fry/
