Compared to the regular 2017 Acura NSX, the FIA-legal NSX GT3 is 900 lbs lighter, rear-wheel drive, and is stripped of all its hybrid components. Yet there’s still a lot shared between the two cars, like the chasis, steering rack, and the twin-turbo V6 engine which is “virtually untouched”.
