With all the buzz around the new turbo V6 in the TLX Type S, we haven’t heard a lot about the tuning potential of the “regular” TLX’s 2.0L turbo engine.
But just recently, a modded 2021 Acura TLX 2.0L put out some impressive numbers: 360 hp, 347 lb-ft at the wheels using E30 fuel, and 334 hp, 326 lb-ft at the wheels using 93 octane. Those are some solid gains with just the following mods:
• K&N air filter
• OEM FK8 Civic Type R turbocharger swap
• RV6 Performance downpipe (catted)
• PRL Motorsports intercooler (retrofit from Accord)
• KTuner Flash V2
