Japanese racing team ARTA, has unveiled a heavily customized NSX called the “LEGAVELO”.
You’ll immediately notice the extreme exterior makeover, but rest assured it’s not just for show. ARTA Mechanics have utilized their experience racing the NSX in Super GT, and have designed the LEGAVELO to reduce weight and to improve aerodynamics.
The kit adds numerous parts, most of which is carbon fiber – the hood, front bumper, front fenders, side skirts, rear fenders, B-pillar, rear bumper, wing, roof and fuel lid, are all new. Even the iconic flying buttress’ have been replaced with new air ducts. Wider fenders, larger front intakes and more air vents give the LEGAVELO an aggressive new look, but are also meant to direct airflow more efficiently.
While there are no upgrades to the engine, other changes include a new quad-barrel exhaust, forged aluminum wheels, carbon fiber interior trim, and suede upholstery.
ARTA’s website lists the kit at 25,300,000 Japanese Yen (approximately $222,500 USD), and will be limited to only 5 units.
