Suggestion for 2013 MDX design:
It’s time for the dual exhaust to be built into the rear bumper. The Lexus LS 460 has a very appealing look that the MDX could model in future designs. (KIA has copied the Lexus design in some of their recent models.) The dual exhausts on the 2007-2009 MDX models are much more stylish than their predecessors. In addition, the MDX should include running boards; preferably, the silver with black rubber for the footing that flows as part of the body, not an aftermarket running board. Finally, something must change with the front of the cars face. Again, the 2007-2009 models still have the edge with their style in that category. I’m certain this must be something John Ikeda is already entertaining and looking forward to his improved version. The running fog lights are a brilliant idea which definitely make the MDX stand out on the road. There could be an argument to bring back the “MDX Sport” with its sporty rims, wider tires, comfort/sport ride and auto-shift. The evolution of the MDX has been incredible over the last two decades, but must continue to evolve!
