The mysterious camouflaged SUV I posted last week has been caught again, this time by Brenda Priddy & Co.
A new image of the possible next-generation Acura MDX has been posted on SEMA’s website. Still under heavy cover, the new photo doesn’t reveal too much, but we do get a better sense of the vehicle’s overall dimensions. Again the shield-type Acura grille peeks through, and we see a few lines of the lower front fascia which looks similar to the 2013 RDX.
According to Brenda Priddy & Co. the new MDX will get a setup similar to the upcoming RLX, with a 3.5L V6, Sport Hybrid SH-AWD and 7-speed dual clutch transmission in the works.
Unfortunately I can’t post the photo here, so head over to sema.org to check out the shot.

That has MDX written all over it. I’m not sure how well it would do as a hybrid though.
Sweet- we are considering the next-gen MDX when it comes out. Also looking at the new RDX but that might be too small for us (planning on starting a family soon).
Performance Hybrid. Expect more horsepower with similar gas economy for the same price.
Does anyone know if they will release the 2013 MDX with the Hybrid option? Or is that redesign not happening until 2014? I’ve read conflicting information online…
