A week with a Performance Red Pearl 2021 Acura TLX A-Spec. It’s become a tradition to take our Acura press vehicles into Alberta’s Rockies, and the SH-AWD winter-tire equipped 2021 TLX would be no exception.
Our first destination was the world-famous Icefields Parkway. In fact, if you’re ever in a TLX with IconicDrive™, you’ll find one of its twenty-four interior lighting themes is named after the Parkway. It shouldn’t be hard to see why:
The Icefields Parkway is known for its jaw-dropping scenery, but is also notorious for its winter driving conditions. The perfect SH-AWD test, right? With conditions marked as “poor” that day, the TLX was smooth and confident the entire way.
The second batch of photos come out of Kananaskis Country, which is just west of Calgary and in the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. We got lucky with a spectacular sunset and some low lying clouds that provided some interesting light.
It also gave us an opportunity to snap some photos of the gorgeous, black and red A-Spec interior with mountains in view:
