Jumping on the 2016 trend, we’re throwing it back Jumping on the 2016 trend, we’re throwing it back 10 years to revisit Acura’s model lineup. At the time, it included two SUVs, three sedans, and the NSX—introduced that year as a 2017 model.

It also marked the final appearance of Acura’s full lineup wearing the “power plenum” grille, better known as the “beak,” before the 2017 MDX debuted a refreshed look with the Diamond Pentagon grille.

Love it or hate the grille, it’s hard to ignore how many MDX and TLX from this era I see rolling around every day!

Acura has confirmed that the next generation RDX is currently in development and will introduce the brand’s first two motor hybrid system when it arrives within the next couple of years. The current RDX, which was introduced in 2018, will wrap up production later this year. Since its debut in 2006, the Acura RDX has achieved nearly 740,000 sales in the U.S.

Filling the gap in the meantime will be the all-electric Acura RSX performance SUV, which is set to arrive in the second half of 2026.
The Honda-approved Italdesign "NSX Tribute" brings The Honda-approved Italdesign "NSX Tribute" brings first-generation styling cues to the second-generation NSX.

A limited number will be built, based on the second-generation NSX, and offered exclusively on right-hand-drive examples.

Inspired by the original NSX, the design includes a new full-width rear light treatment, motorized “eyelid” headlight covers that mimic the classic pop-up units, and a reworked dashboard with an updated instrument display
