It also marks the return of the Integra nameplate to Japan since it was discontinued in 2006 as the Honda Integra.

Built in Marysville, Ohio, the Integra Type S will be exported to Japan mostly unchanged, retaining full U.S.-market specifications - including left-hand drive. Sales in Japan begin in the second half of 2026.

Could this be the beginning of Acura's expansion into the Japanese market, or simply a special 40th anniversary occasion?
