Jumping on the 2016 trend, we’re throwing it back Jumping on the 2016 trend, we’re throwing it back 10 years to revisit Acura’s model lineup. At the time, it included two SUVs, three sedans, and the NSX—introduced that year as a 2017 model.

It also marked the final appearance of Acura’s full lineup wearing the “power plenum” grille, better known as the “beak,” before the 2017 MDX debuted a refreshed look with the Diamond Pentagon grille.

Filling the gap in the meantime will be the all-electric Acura RSX performance SUV, which is set to arrive in the second half of 2026.

Inspired by the original NSX, the design includes a new full-width rear light treatment, motorized “eyelid” headlight covers that mimic the classic pop-up units, and a reworked dashboard with an updated instrument display
